For therapists called to depth, presence, and embodied work
Clinical Consultation
& Supervision
Working in various backgrounds of mental health and trauma, including residential, group homes, substance use settings, and community mental health agencies, I believe the only sustainable way to survive in this work is through genuine and authentic connection, guidance, and support.
Some of us don’t stumble into this work—we’re called
You may not have had language for it at first, but something in you knew:
sitting with others in their pain, their questions, their becoming, would be part of your life’s work.
If you’re here, you might be at a place where your clinical work is asking more of you—not more techniques, but more presence, integration, and trust in your way of knowing.
Pulled toward deeper, slower, more relational work—but unsure how to name or legitimize it in a world selling us the next newest modality or intervention
Tired of supervision that feels overly manualized, corrective, or disconnected from what’s happening in the world
Curious about somatic and depth-oriented approaches, but wanting support that’s grounded and ethical
Confident in your clinical instincts and still craving reflective space to metabolize complex cases
At a threshold: new to the field, newly licensed, newly independent, or quietly outgrowing old frameworks
Longing for consultation that honors who you are as much as what you do in the room
You might be feeling…
What This Space Is
Clinical consultation and supervision with me is a relational, reflective, and embodied space.
This is not about being molded into a “right” kind of therapist, it’s about deepening your capacity to:
Stay present with complexity
Trust your clinical intuition while sharpening discernment
Work with the body, not just the story
Hold existential questions without rushing toward answers
Notice what’s happening between you and your clients—and within you
here’s what we’ll do together & how this work shows up in the room
My Orientation & Shared Values
My approach is rooted in:
Relational depth: therapy as a living, co-created process and its own entity
Somatic awareness: the body as a source of its own information, regulation, and knowing
Depth-oriented traditions: honoring unconscious processes, parts, symbols, and patterns
Existential & person-centered philosophy: meaning-making, choice, responsibility, and the healing power of being deeply seen
Feminist, queer, & liberation-informed values: context matters; power matters; your nervous system didn’t form in a vacuum
I value slowness, curiosity, and attunement over performance or perfection, and strive to model this in consultation and supervision.
We may explore topics such as:
Complex, chronic trauma that includes developmental, relational, and intergenerational trauma
Transference, countertransference, and relational dynamics
Nervous system patterns and Somatic cues in both client and clinician
Burnout, vicarious trauma, and sustainability in the work (especially now in this world and political climate–grad school did not prepare us for this!)
Ethical tensions, considerations, and clinical uncertainty or ambiguity
Your identity as a therapist—how it’s evolving, stretching, or asking to be reclaimed
Who This is For
and not for:
This may be a good fit if you:
Practice (or are moving toward) deeply processing, experiential, relational, somatic, depth-oriented, existential, or truly person-centered work
Want consultation that feels collaborative and explorative rather than hierarchical
Are open to reflection, embodiment, and not having all the answers
See your own inner work as inseparable from your clinical work
This may not be the best fit if you’re seeking:
Highly prescriptive, critical, protocol-driven supervision
A “fix-it” or expert-above-you dynamic
Quick, fast “one-size fits all” answers without room for process

Supervision & Consultation FAQs
Frequently asked questions
-
Supervision is typically structured around licensure requirements and includes oversight of clinical work.
Consultation is more “peer-to-peer”, collaborative and reflective, designed for clinicians who want support, depth, and perspective without an evaluative frame or foundation.
-
Absolutely not!
This space is best suited for clinicians who value relational presence, somatic awareness, and depth-oriented inquiry—even if you’re still finding language or confidence in those approaches.
Curiosity and openness matter more than mastery, and you’ll find your way throughout this process.
-
While I value and often utilize certain modalities and interventions, I view them as tools. Not all tools are right for the job.
Under it all, this work is primarily process-based, with skills woven in when useful or needed. This shows up often in how I work with clients, too.
We’ll attend to how you’re showing up in the room, what’s being stirred in you, and what’s unfolding relationally—because that’s often where the most meaningful clinical growth happens.
